How many years will the UK be involved in a conflict with Libya?

Now the Yanks are pulling out I think the British will be sent packing with their tails between their legs within a month or two. Unless the Yanks come back to rescue the coalition the cost to the UK will cause the government to unravel as the war does more damage to the UK than to Libya. Lets just hope that parliament cut's Cameron's throat before he ruins the country.
