Somali Folklore?

I have just read and found out that even though Somalis are Muslim, in the stories of Somali folklore has some paganism inside it. Somalis in their highly talk about cannibals that lived 700 years and since Somali culture is oral it was kept and preserved. The most famous cannibal story in Somali folklore is "Dhegdheer" which means "Long Ear" was a female cannibal in Somalia during a large drought 700 years ago who every baby. Another thing that Somalis believe in Black magic, the Evil Eye, Jinn "evil sipirits", and that a race of giants inherited the Somalia before the Somalis arrived in A.D 700
