Can anyone please help me out because i am so scared and frightened to death ?

I've went to my neurologist doctor about a week ago and he says that a slight enhancement of the pituitary gland is seen in my MRI brain scan and he says that it doesn't look like any dangerous but he wants to send me to a neurosurgeon to get their opinions on whether they should do repeats of MRI scans every 6 months. I am very scared of going to the neurosurgeon because i am so scared and i don't know what he will do to me. The scan results of the MRi says that " a somewhat enlarged pituitary gland is noted measuring about 9 MM in height but shows geneous enhancement and says one of the more common etiologies for pituitary hyperplasia is hypothyroidism. " clinical correlation is advised. I'm really scared to death because i am so worried about what they will do to me. Could anyone please help me out ?? I'm really scared and i don't know what to do.
