Do narcotics (or opiates) carry over into your milk?

My neighbor/friend just had a baby by c section and she said the doctors gave her all sorts of drugs like morphine and perkaset. She's feeding and worried that it's going into her milk. Can someone tell me if it's okay for her to have narcotics like these while feeding?
