Is it normal for women to not aknowledge your existence after the end of a long relationship?

I admit I did my ex wrong by basically ignoring her in the whole month of October, then boom out of nowhere to my sup rise she left me, I told her I just needed time alone, we went out for 2 yrs and had some great times, vacations, everything. She gave me only like a day for me to get on my knees and beg her back, then she started going out with her brother's friend and she says they are in love and will soon marry etc. The thing I don't understand is that if Iam such a bad guy why am I still thinking about her everyday and she has not once called me, she even asked me not to ever call her. She said she really doesn't care about my existence and she was serious. I thought women had feelings and understood other peoples feelings.
