A relationship question for Christians only?

This is what the Lord Jesus Christ was talking about when He said "the tree is known by its fruit". When we first see the tree, it is from a distance, and looks like a good tree; but as we draw near, we begin to see that their is corrupt fruit on it. It is not until we get near, become familiar with a person that we can know whether they are a person of good fruit or corrupt fruit.
