Why is Christianity and the bible so violent?

''excellent points.......yet Christians continue to believe that Islam tells its followers to kill unbelievers......what hypnosis....clearly they do not read there own scriptures closely and are fast to primarily judge Islam and other religions as well....''unbelievers in Islam are pagans,Christians are people of the book however,in Christianity you are supposed to kill everyone that is not christian......so much for Islam being violent............hypocrites!!all of history shows the violent Christians and there killings of innocents....
